Active ingredient: Zinc oxide 227.5 mg/g (22.75% w/w). Other ingredients: Medium chain triglycerides, castor oil, coco-octanoate/decanoate, coconut oil, candellila wax, hydrogenated castor oil, polyglyceryl-3 polyricinoleate, d-alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), isostearic acid, water melon, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red, iron oxide black.

FULL INGREDIENTS

Active ingredient: Zinc oxide 227.5 mg/g (22.75% w/w). Directions

Apply evenly to face and body 20 minutes before sun exposure. A good guide is 1 teaspoon for the face (including ears and neck), each limb, the back, and the front of the body. Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming, towel drying or exercising. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses when outdoors.

Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation develops discontinue use. For external use only. Store below 30°C.

How to Recycle

Jars: We encourage you to reuse your jar where possible. There are many great ways to repurpose your jar. Wash with warm soapy water, wipe out with a clean paper towel and start using. Ideal for propagating plants, preserves or a candle holder... get creative!

To recycle, remove cardboard from jar. Remove glue from cardboard and jar as much as possible. Glue is put into your bin waste. Cardboard and glass can go into your kerbside recycle bin. If your local collection won't take the glass, please drop at your local recycling facility.

Tubes: Our tube is made from 100% recyclable aluminium. To recycle, place your empty tube without the cap, straight in your kerbside recycle bin to give it another life. Make sure the product inside is completely used up, before placing it in the recycle bin. TIP - place inside an empty can before putting in the recycling bin, so the sorting machines detect it.

Alternatively, clean and empty aluminium tubes can always be dropped off to metal recyclers or other recycling drop off points.

Keep plastic cap for re-use: Simply request your next tube with no lid, it will come sealed and ready for you to re-attach your lid). At end of cap life, recycle (mono plastic #5). Refill pouches: The pouch, spout and cap is made from mono material LDPE (soft plastic #4), recyclable through soft plastic schemes across New Zealand and Australia.

Zinc Oxide

The star of all our sunscreen products, Zinc Oxide, provides a natural physical barrier that protects skin against UVA and UVB rays and helps prevent skin damage so you can have more fun in the sun!

Water melon

Bringing summer vibes and briming with vitamins and minerals, this remarkable oil promotes collagen production, combats hyper-pigmentation and penetrates deep into skin to lock in moisture for visibly glowing and rejuvenated skin.

Coconut oil

Vitamin E

#ditchtheplastictube

Traditional plastic tubes have never been an option for us, so we chose aluminium for its recyclability and lower environmental impact. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, and about 75% of all aluminium produced is still in use today.

What about the lid?

Yes, our lid is made from plastic. Believe us we tried and tested aluminium lids, but we found they get gritty and hard to use over time, and the chance of losing your lid at the beach was pretty high. We’ve opted for a practical recyclable mono plastic flip top lid, designed to be re-used over and over.

Tube care tips

With a little TLC we think you’ll find our tubes easy squeezy to use. Keep your tube away from sharp items, and direct sunlight, ideally in a small bag to keep it protected from too much folding or a puncture. Squeeze from the bottom and fold as you go, or use a Tube Key to prevent splitting and get every last drop out of goodness out.
